Exclusively made-to-order by skilled artisans on the Venetian island of Murano, this hand-painted jug is inspired by the immaculately preserved antique stemware at Houghton Hall. A sculptural silhouette, and curved spout lend character, while a botanical motif from an 18th century-style floral wallpaper motif adds artistic flair. Set your table with this hand-painted Murano glassware set for an elegant and refined formal table setting.
Owing to a mutual passion for interiors and true artisanal craftsmanship, together Rose, The Marchioness of Cholmondeley, and Martina Mondadori have created a tabletop collection inspired by original artefacts at Houghton Hall, North Norfolk. The collection includes table linens inspired by Rose’s 18th century hand painted silk bedroom wall covering, alongside napkins, porcelain plates and silver swans. All objects are carefully made in Italy following months of creative collaboration between the two design conspirators and friends.

The Murano Benaki Hand-Painted Jug is handblown on the Venetian island of Murano, where master Italian glassmakers have practiced their craft for centuries. It features a flared three-pointed spout rimmed in a deep burgundy, and a delicate central motif, which pays homage to traditional Greek folk motifs, embodying the spirit of age-old Mediterranean craft and culture.
The Benaki Collection marks Cabana's first design partnership directly inspired by a museum or public institution. A percentage of sales will go now to the Benaki Museum, supporting its ongoing work to preserve and celebrate the arts in Greece.
